Flipkart and Karbonn selling the new A50s for just $47 (₹2,790)

Karbonn Mobiles has tied up with Flipkart to exclusively launch the new A50s in India. The key feature of this phone is the price, which at ₹2,790 ($47), makes it the cheapest Android smartphone you can purchase today.

The Karbonn A50s has some very basic specifications, including

1. 3.5-inch, 480x320 display
2. MediaTek SoC with dual-core 1.2GHz CPU
3. 256MB of RAM
4. 512MB storage space with microSD card support
5. dual-SIM support
6. 2 megapixel camera on the back with flash
7. VGA camera on the front.
8. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
9. The phone is now on sale in black and white color.
