Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to launch on September 3

Samsung is finally gearing up for the launch of the next version of the phablet, the Galaxy Note 4. According to the Korean Times, Samsung will unveil the new phone in Berlin on September 3.

Samsung seems to rush the unveiling in order to combat the rival Apple’s iPhone phablet, the 5.5-inch iPhone 6, which is due to unveil in the same month.

The unveiling will be done a few days prior to the Germany IFA trade fair, which is the biggest tech exhibition.

The Korean Times also states that Samsung will attract more customers by the enhanced hardware specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will comprise:

  1. Superior hardware, better than the Samsung Galaxy S5
  2. AMOLED display
  3. Metal frame.

Samsung also said that they will also be launching, a curved display version of the Galaxy Note 4, though it won’t be aimed to the masses.

Adding further, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will also be the first smartphone with a UV sensor to measure the UV radiation levels for the health app.
